Port Denarau Marina, Fiji was awarded entry into the Hall of Fame in the category of Best International Marina at the MIA event held on Australia’s Gold Coast this week. ‘Hall of Fame’ was specifically created to recognise marinas that have consecutively won a major ‘Marina of the Year’ category. Port Denarau has been a major category winner consistently since 2015. TallyBee has been busily working in the background at the Port Denarau Marina, helping streamline processes around billing of electricity and water consumption throughout this entire successful “reign” of Port Denarau. The sleek design of the pedestals fits right in with the glamorous tropical destination that Port Denarau has become.

For the first time in the 17-year history of the MIA event, a New Zealand marina has won the Best International Marina award. Kudos to Bay of Islands Marina in Opua for this amazing win! How gratifying to be officially recognised for the dedication and attention to detail provided by staff, from arrival and Customs clearance through to boat maintenance and community interaction. Competing with Australian and Asian marinas, Bay of Islands has highlighted that NZ is truly a world-class destination. TallyBee is proud to be featured in BOI Marina since 2016, providing reliable power and water access. In addition, discreet illumination for the docks is supplied by TallyKey pedestals with LED lamps, further enhancing energy conservation for the marina.

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) awards selects marinas for high levels of service offered to customers and overall marine service industry—attributes which make successful marinas favoured havens for yachties.
